They bite, but not too bad. They are often snappy as pets.

In the wild, I have caught many of these and not been bitten yet. They pose no danger if left alone.

Sometimes they will bite, but not usually. Some times they act like they will but don't. Most are quite docile. I knew of one that tries to attack through glass. No they are not poisonous.

They're non venomous and harmless to humans. They will hiss and strike if you corner them in the wild, but they are trying to defend themselves from a potential predator (you) & if you leave them alone, they will avoid you..
