you have first to believe in yourself, tell yourself that you want and can swim. Try first getting your head under water, if this feels comfy try swimming under water. Once you are OK under water you can move to step two, do what others do when swimming, if you start going down, don't be afraid, remember you can swim under water back a shallow place. Once you start getting confidence in yourself you will swim for longer periods, to improve your style, let someone take a video for you while swimming compare and adjust your swimming style by changing what you see wrong in the video. Good luck and keep it up

you don't desire to be shameful of something! a great number of persons contained in the international won't be able to swim. even as studying swimming, consistently commence with the respiration in and exhaling technique for swimming! once you get it proper then flow on with you legs and then your palms and fingers moves! that is going to take you no better than 10 instructions of swimming for study the freestyle! flow and stumble on a swimming instructor! For self assurance, attempt to love the water, positioned your self contained in the pool and also you could in person-friendly words pay interest to silence and make your self imagine that it really is cool and relaxing and each and every thing! desire this can help you!

I am a shameless advocate of www.totalimmersion.net
I used to swim (timed but non-competition) long-distance and reading through this website (along with purchasing a book called Total Immersion) helped me to improve my technique and speed up my swim. The techniques and lessons presented in Total Immersion are great for everyone from beginner to advanced swimmer. Check it out, and best of luck to you!

find a dock and keep pushing off with your feet and you know what someone looks like when they swim, mimic that movement until you really swim on your own it just takes practice.
