Rectangular in shape unlike most animals who are round.

It's a horizontal rectangle.

Animals such as goats , horses and cattle which are preyed upon, have horizontal pupil this allows them to "keep an eye on" a large horizon. . . . to look out for predators.

While animals such as domestic cats, tigers etc. have vertical pupils because they don't have to look everywhere, they just have to narrow in sharply on ONE prey.
