America would be better if it wasn't run by a corporate, capitalist pig government. Socialism is perfect, look at Russia. Everyone there is rich and happy. Their currency is stable, and there is no poverty. There is no government corruption, and their legal system is fair. People never have to worry about the government taking their property, so they are motivated to work hard and earn the best living they can for themselves. They're environment is great because everyone is rich and can afford to implement pollution controls. Russia's Real GDP per capita is
$11,000 per year, that's so much. All the kids in Russia have computers and they surf on the internet all day instead of working in sweatshops (like kids in the US) because socialism gives them such a good quality of life.

Meanwhile, we're stuck in this awful place, America. Our Real GDP per capita is $41,800, 4 times more than Russia's. I wish I was in a socialist country, I would have about 25% of the money I have now. Hahahaha, capitalism is dumb.

If you didn't figure it out, everything I wrote is opposite. Go take an economics class, or ask someone who lived in a socialist country what it was really like. I bet you wouldn't be able to find a single person who would go back.

Teachers and baseball player would make the same amount. Also, there would be no Yahoo but a slow govern system. Socialism can not work in this world as long as we have needs and wants. Socialism fail because the United States proved that those whom work hard get more.

Most people want a little more then they need in case of a raining day. Some need and want way more like Ferris.:)

Well, then you wouldn't be permitted to make such comments, instead, you would be hauled off to quiet little 'worker's paradise' in the frozen and barren North and never seen again.

Just look at all the success that Socialism brought to Russia, the Ukraine, the Soviet Socialist Republic, the Socialst States of Europe, before it all imploded! You can go live there, flights leaving daily!

The only reason that Marx proposed communism or socialism is that he did not understand that trade creates value. Had he realized this, he would never have supposed that the workers were being "exploited". Because trade (including employment) DOES create value, people are motivated to make and sell things that others want. Without such motivation, the economy cannot function; the USSR being the obvious (but regrettably, not the only) example.

No. In order for a society to advance there must be incentive to people. if you work hard you should reap the benefits. If a successful person has to give most of his wealth to others, why should he struggle? There will be very little progress.
The reason the US has become so powerful and a leader in the world is because of capitalism. Call corporations pigs, but without them we would become a third world country.

Impossible... in the past tense, socialism was doomed to fail. Reason, human nature is competative. This is why capitalism works.

I do think that maybe someday human nature will be cooperative and on that day capitalism will fail. Socialism cannot survive now because it isn't an advantage in a competitive world. Similarly, capitalism isn't an advantage in a cooperative world.

Socialized medicine would not work here nor would Americans stand for government run hospitals. When you have socialized medicine the quality of medicine and medical equipment goes down. You are dreaming if you think it would work here! There is no way it would work since we have had a taste of capitalism! Why do you think people want to come to America....it's for a piece of the American dream. What's behind the American dream???? Capitalism!!

No, it would not. Capitalism is going hand-in-hand with freedom and threat. Say you desire to open a sprint cafe. below capitalism you're able to do it and in case you artwork troublesome you will make money and do nicely. below socialism you need to ask the government in case you could open the cafe. they could say no there are already too many cafes. You lose freedom below socialism. yet another occasion is wellness care ~ do no longer think of that socialized medicine is all that large, via fact it is not. i understand somebody who lived in Canada (the place there is socialized medicine). He needed surgical operation yet there replaced right into a wait record of countless months. He died till now he ought to get the surgical operation....perhaps that's a uncommon case, yet i could be happier in a Capitalist society the place I extremely have the prospect to artwork troublesome and do nicely. Calling it a "company capitalist pig ran government" - I corrected your spelling concerns me - i could desire to appreciate basically why you think of it may be greater proper.

Something tells me that if you had significant medical issues, you wouldn't wish we were living under a socialist government. Capitalism is THE only way to live. If you hate this country so much- LEAVE, seriously- leave today- no one is forcing you stay.

That is looking more and more likely, the socialist revolution of Venezuela, and Bolivia is spreading through south America and beyond. Meanwhile the USA is discredited, and heading for bankruptcy
