Yes, everyday, conflict within ourselves is necessary,
we need the friction whether between divided hearts
or with our way in fate or destiny as individuals in nature,
our frame of reference lay in our attitudes from others
and their rhetoric and from our own windows of understanding
who we are. I'm a musician so for me conflict is a path
toward creativity and novelty, to break habit and create
something new from the conflicts we encounter within
ourselves, putting yourself down brings one to the light
and to see where you are in ones present state of existence.
Then one can make adjustments in how you approach life.

Yes. I do it a lot unfortunately. Though, it doesn't help when my mother is prone to saying terrible things about me when I'm feeling bad already.
