With creative writers and so many stories that have been told throughout the time of humans the soaps can go on and on. They don't have to represent real life (though some do), they can be purely fictional from aliens to angels! Without soaps what would everyone talk about and fantasize about?

LOLOLOL it is so humorous you stated those 2 soaps. those have been those I used to demonstrate screen interior the states.i do no longer understand precisely why I watched them. i think of its like an dependancy like Y!A. yet they circulate on and on via fact human beings desire them to. Days has been on for over 20 years. And just to make it easier to realize its no longer in basic terms American soaps that don't end. i'm right here in Egypt and there are soaps that have been on for years to, yet in basic terms greater sensible, like actual families and what actual human beings do popular. and that they do no longer seem to be as sloooooowwwwwwww and the yank soaps. LOL it takes a guy or woman a week to do one activity lol,yet thats what retains human beings coming back for greater. The long drawn out suspense. Plus they're generally watched via homestead better halves at a time an afternoon have been they're on my own interior the homestead till now hubby and the youngsters come homestead.

A number of them have ended. The actors just move on to other soaps.

I don't know. I like the stories on the spanish channel. They end and there's closure. American soaps drag crap on forever.

I'm not sure but it is weird how they go on FOREVER. My fave soap is Days of Our Lives. I've been watching it for like 12 years and sometimes I'm like "C'mon already but I'm hooked at the same time!!!

Because American's find them addictive, so they never stop watching, hence the soap oprahs never end.

bc the writers are always scraping their brains for a new story line....thats why they are so addicting....bc something is ALWAYS going on no matter what. thats why i love All My Children...and Young and the Restless. The two greatest soaps ever.

they do that to keep people watching them their stories are never ending and people will keep watching in hopes that the story will eventually end lol
