My doctor told me at my daughter's two month check-up that she has a fused labia. Ever since I started to put the cream on her she has stopped pooping everyday like she was and going every few days. Has anyone else had this problem? It doesn't list it as a side effect on the cream but I'm not sure if it is just a coincidence.

My dd also has had fused labia -- we call her our "super virgin". We have had to use the cream on her three times (for about a month each time) since she was about 6 months old. Every time she gets constipated or has really hard stools. Not the greatest. It's not listed as a side effect, but our pharmacist said he's heard this from several moms.

Since she's only two months old, I wouldn't be too concerned with her not pooping every day -- especially if she is breastfed. Look at the "quality" not "quantity" of her poop. As long as it hasn't changed in color, become harder or more difficult to pass, she's probably just fine.

Hang in there Mom!

Do you breastfeed? It is pretty common for breastfed babies to poop only once every couple of days. Some only poop once a week or even 10 days. It usually starts around two or three months, when their digestive systems have matures a bit and they are drinking more breast milk. If the poop isn't solid, like in little balls, or she isn't uncomfortable, the she probably isn't constipated. If you are still worried then certainly call your pediatrician and ask.

my daughter also had to have estrogen cream for the same problem, but she never had any problem with her bowels during the time she was on the cream. my oldest daughter always had problems with her bowels since she was a newborn, it could be the kind of milk she drinks, there is alot of factors that could cause it, you should ask your pediatrition for help.

no danger in any respect until eventually you ensue no longer to entice close the female in touch or are on the subway or in church then it would nicely be a project. If the reply is guaranteed to any of those eventualities i'd stick with a polite hi! desire this helps!

If your daughter is breastfed, it is often *normal* for her to have a bowel movement only once a week or even less. As long as when she *does* go, it's soft and profuse, you don't have to worry, no matter *how* long it's been.
