This question is not about being racist but more about how you see a person at first sight, with their race or just as them.
Example: when you see Eminem, do u see a white rapper or just a rapper. Or do you see 50 Cent as a black rapper or just a rapper. Maybe your boss or teacher, do you see them as white/black/latino/asian..... first b4 u see there character.
Just because you see their colour intially doesnt make you a racist but its just something that interests me.
For me sometimes i do see the colour first but then usually change my mind after speaking to them because just because they are of a certain race or colour then they should behave in a particular manner.

I see what lies under the skin, it is what comes from the heart that counts, if i don't like someone it's because there's something i just don't like they could be white, black, red it wouldn't matter. and the same goes for my friends if i like them it's the person i like, if i see a rapper, which i don't like anyway i just see a rapper i never think of what colour there skin is. what we must watch out for is when people start asking questions, or pointing out things, or the PC brigade changes things that they say will upset people of a different race this causes people to stop and question themselves and make racist comments, and they start blaming them for the changes, something they would never have done

Sorry, but isn't the colour of your skin a part of what you are?
When you first see someone, before you talk to them, all you have to go on is what your senses tell you. Part of that is (of course) the colour of their skin. But also, there are other things like, "What a lovely smile" or "Wow, he looks happy!". You can't judge a book by it's cover, and you can't judge a person by their colour, but would you pick up a book with a plain cover, unless something about it caught your eye?
I am not being racist in any way here, but I think that anyone who says, "Oh no, I NEVER see the colour of Someone's skin" is deluding themselves. Of course they do! The important thing is whether they allow THAT fact to colour THEIR own judgement.

I think people abused the term racist. Racist to me is if you put hate and ignorant remarks upon one person because of their race. I am not a racist because I am half asian and half french, but I do see their ethnic first. However, it doesnt really matter if you see if it's a black person or an asian person first ofcourse. You do have to realized that they are black or asian because those two are the most outthere race in terms of appearance. But when you get to know a person by talking to them, you eventually forget that they are asians or black and tend to just see them as yourself.

Honestly,.. I see thier color, body language, dress, hair style, eye movement and even put my nose to the wind. I am not a racist by any means, however I can be discriminatory toward people who are less well kempt, have poor hygene and show a lack of respect and demonstrate poor moral character. Believe it or not....we ALL profile.. If we all dressed alike and spoke the same language, groomed exactly alike, i.e. Bald, clean shaven, white jump suits ( no matter what color skin) we would observe there true colors, Aura, vibes, social behavior, or " character" and judge accordingly.

some people fear clowns, just thier looks scare them. A clown is meant to make people happy not sad.
Does everyone trust priests or clergy? Some are here to help, some are here to take advantage.
a butt hole is a butt hole no matter the color or race.

Give everyone you meet the chance to show you the REAL person they are then, Love em' or leave em' you chose who lives in your happiness.

obviously the first thing i see is their colour but that is what my eyes see, i cannot help that, no one can. Its my brain that sees the person. It would be stupid for people to lie and say they don't see their colour first. On tv though if i saw someone who was doing something in particular like singing, my eyes see a singer and my ears hear a singer so i see them as a singer first, after listening to them my brain recognises that they may be of different colour to me. It is a really funny question because there are so many different senarios.

I hardly ever meet anyone who isn't white, so I do see peoples colour first. I don't think that is racism though because i do not judge people by their looks but by their actions. If you live in a multicultural environment I would think that you wouldn't see 'colour' as the first thing about a person.

Think this changes as we grow up.
As a kid our gang was a real mix. We were aware of colour but somehow it didn't register as anything that important and I'm seeing the same with my kids now.
Im curious to see when and how they lose that innocence
To answer your question yes I now see colour and race first

I see the person. Unless they're dressed in a way that makes me view them differently. You know, like the girl with the barely there clothes makes me think "hooker", or the white kid with his pants below his butt, makes me think "wannabe gangbanger". But that's often a snap decision. I try to make a point to judge someone by the vibe they throw out (you can tell the snooty person vs the laid back one) and the way the treat me and if I have a problem with them, it usually means they themselves are an *sshole in some way.

'Color' again, huh? I see lotsa phonies walking the street all vying for attention. Of all descriptions. Some are desperate and make lotsa noise. I've got it down to where I can really tune you out. Thankfully, I hanen't turned into a cynic. So when someone really decent registers on the radar? It is such a great thing to exchange hellos and some moments.
