I prefer Nextel / Sprint. They do have dropped calls, but they are the only ones who haven't screwed me over with surprise costs. The only minutes I use are when I call out Mon - Fri from 7am - 9pm. No long distance costs, no incoming call costs, no direct connect costs, no roaming, NADA. You have to get text or any data services as a seperate package, but I have never gone over my minutes and/or been charged extra minutes. And I don't pay attention to how much I talk on it at all. I only have 500 peak minutes a month. I just tell everyone to call me back, cause it costs me NADA!

This depends where you live. Best way to find out is to ask people you know, even ask people on the street using a wireless phone how they like their service. The biggest factor is how many antenna's the service has in your area, the more antenna's the less dropped calls.

I've been with Verizon for over 2 years and they have been great! I would stay away from T-Mobile b/c their customer service sucks!
