I guess it was unfair... Depending on who's looking at it! The better team won. Maybe they'll make it to the finals, or not. Look at Brazil. Ronaldo said on National television that they WERE going to win the cup. Everyone was so SURE they would take it all...were they ever wrong. Go France. You cannot judge Portugal by the game played against Netherlands. That was a freaky game.. unfair for both teams. And exactly what did Ronaldo do? He scored the winning goal?!?!? I'm sure when he's playing with MU you won't think he's doing anything wrong.

I think the match was fair. The referee was fair too. England played badly. But whats new ehh?.England are highly overrated.Too many celebrities and not enough real football players. Wants to make you vomit doesnt it?.So its no surprise that England lost. They have to shed that media hype and get on playing some real footsie.C.Ronaldo did what any player would do to help out a stomped on team mate!
I support Brasil.

I hated it. I give the academy award to the entire Portugal team, for their portrayal of soccer players. They have got to be the most talented team, when it comes to crying and whining and rolling around on the floor that is. Hmm, Portugal and Netherlands, a lot of yellow cards, Portugal and England, a lot of fouls. What is the common denominator in those scenarios??? I hope that France kicks Portugals hineys. (and this is coming from an English fan)

To be honest, I don't think we (england) deserved to win. With an attacking plan of Rooney on his own up front, there was no real chance of him scoring. Admittedly that changed after he went off as there was a sudden sense of urgency of play - which quite frankly I found annoying!! As for the Ronaldo incident, he was guilty of..winking!! England lost because there were not organised or eager enough!! Bring on the new blood!!

i think the match between england and potugal was very fair. the match was left to the 22 player to make a decissiong who win.
the refere did well. about roony and ronaldo, i think ronaldo new roony had temper and did what he did he had no right to tell the ref what to do he should have been gaven a yellow card after roony was send off for telling the ref how to do his job. and roony he need to grow up and stop atting too mad at every body football is not the end of the world it, player like ronaldo now how roony is he use it aganist him his attitute, help to make england lose that game, and drama for fans in england, grow up guys.

roos red was right for such a challenge but for the player it wasnt fair after all he had done to keep possesion of the ball.
ronaldo reacted as any other player wld do if a team mate was stamped though may be he wasnt right to confront the ref against
his fellow utd mate.
otherwise portugal deserved to go through after all they had perfomed to reach there yet england never had the strategy despite being the favs.

India had an in intensity to suited tournament after Australia's first innings batting,i assumed it replaced into solid first innings from Aussies yet India scored so quick attributable to Dhawan and co and Australia's 2d innings capitulation that got here about so without delay on the perfect day can not be defined even through Ian Chappell.Batting for India clicked so nicely in this sequence, they'd an in intensity to suited tournament.Australia could've drawn this tournament yet they ended up dropping on the perfect day attributable to some detrimental batting in 2d innings.

the match was perfectly fair, but England were never good enough to win the world cup, so its pretty irrelevant anyway. England were lucky to get to penalties but Ricardo had other ideas...

Theres a difference between classy and trashy. We (ENG) are the classy ones. Its a shame we lost to a team who had to be sat down with and be told SPECIFICALLY not to dive or simulate injuries. Someone should tell Portugal that the object of soccer is to play, and not pay your way through.
