2 weeks ago, my husband and i had unprotected sex, we are trying to have a baby. today i went to the bathroom and and i saw alittle bit of blood, not alot to freak out because i know that spotting can be a sign of pregnancy. can i infact be pregnant. ?
i'm going to take a test as as soon as my husband gets home.

but i don't have regular cycles. i'm irregular on my periods. i don't think it's a coincidence that my period (if infact it is) happens to come when i'm trying for a baby.

If you are bleeding, now is *not* a good time to take a pregnancy test.
If it's your period, you're not pregnant.
If it's implantation bleeding, you need to wait a few days longer so that the implanted blastocyst has time to start producing HCG (the hormone tested for in pregnancy tests). 2 days is the *minimum*, but I would suggest waiting 4-5...

You could be pregnant or it might be a falses alarm. In between my girls I would skip a period and freak out. The test always showed up negative. From personal experience I have ended up pregnant when I was not trying to concieve and when I wasnt truly ready to have kids. My last pregnancy I felt pregnant and missed my period so I took a test, it was a negative. I waited one week then took another and it was positive. I dont remember spotting any before I found out I was pregnant but with my first daughter I did spot after intercourse when I was 3 months along. So all in all you could be but you might not be. Wait or take a test you have to decide.

Ofcourse, there are women with irregular cycles and sometimes they ovulate at the period when they are due to menstruate. So, go ahead and seek the advice of a doctor for it is a situation which can be medically corrected.

You might be, but remember that you will be pregnant for a long time...no reason to rush out and spend money on a test today. Best wishes

yes there is a chance jsut remember if its neg that does not mean that u are not pregnant. cause sometimes it may be to erly to detect the hormone.a nd some women dont have enough of the hormone for a hpt to pick up on

the hardest way to get pregant is by "trying" its a proven fact...i dont know why, but when you relax and just enjoy one another....things all fall into place. You may be pregnant, good luck!!!
