A Mac with Virtual PC

Yes, but you'll have to buy a Mac and wait a bit for the OSX version of CrossOver. Crossover will allow you to install and run Windows XP applications on an Intel Mac with OSX without having to Install Windows XP. Of course, I don't know how well it works but Cnet seemed to be impressed with the Beta version. But that will only run a select few Windows XP programs. I haven't had a single issue with Windows XP in the five years I have been using it. No BSODs, no crashes, no viruses, spyware... but I have an above average security setup and I don't keep hardware for more than three years.

The mac with virtual pc is the best answer or just a mac full stop as they all can share files with PCs. If you can wait, Apple's OSX will be released in the summer for general consumption, or so the word on the street says. This means you can have the wonderful OSX on your PC. At the moment I use a cheap latptop and my mac. I hate windows as it keeps crashing and is easily infected. Neither of these are the case for my mac
