GET AN ATTORNEY! What about child support, alimony, visitation, health and dental benefits for the kids, college tuition? You need someone to represent you and make sure you are not making a mistake by taking some sort of settlement. Look in the yellow pages. There are attorneys that give free consultations - usually 15 min to 1/2 hour. Visit a couple and ask them questions. Call the local bar if you need someone that does pro bono (free) legal work (if you qualify) or call the local legal assistance office. But get a LEGAL opinion, please.

You should try to seek free legal advice. i would not advice going through a divorce without any kind of lawyer. Try the website below to find someone.

You need to talk with someone knowledgeable. There is a lot more information that is needed before someone can give you an informed opinion.
