It wasn't fair because they want Germanyt o win this World Cup! In my opinion it's all set up! Two penalties were not given to Argentina! Not only the foul to Maxi Rodrigueze but also the touch of the hand of a German defender which we never saw on replay!!

Pekerman is a good coach, he just made a huge mistake by thinking he won a game before winning. If you pay attention his substitutions weren't so bad, Cambiasso is indeed better than Riquelme on counterattacks, he is faster. And the substitute striker was fresh, while Crespo was tired. The main problem is the attitude, he obviously told the team to sit back and keep the result.

There is something interesting about this game, FIFA already found that the responsible for the fight at the end of the match were the germans, but they only punished one guy (Frings, that gave the punch on the argentinian's face after the game). Or at least that's what I read on FIFA's website. Weirdly enough I can't find it anymore to put the link here, but they said Frings wouldn't play against Italy, because it was clear in the official images that the german gave the punch first.

No, it wasn't fair, but I think we all knew the refs would favor the home team. Pekerman even said he was preparing for it. Obviously something went wrong there, but Maxi should have gotten a penalty in our favor, not a yellow card. Just like Klose should have been carded, but there are always unfair calls going on.
