I'm looking for the title of this movie.
I can only remember a scene from a preview, where a guy walks up to his VCR, pushing eject, the tape flys out really fast, hits him in the face and knocks him over...
I know this is a difficult one, but here goes....

Nothing more than thats its a comedy, from maybe the early 80's - 82 to 85 maybe

I remember a scene like this, starring Arsenio Hall in a short flick at the beginning of "Amazon Women on the Moon", sort of a sequel to "Kentucky Fried Movie".
Everything in Arsenio's apartment is out to get him. He actually is pushing the tape INTO the machine, but when he hits PLAY, the tape ejects, right into his face. He tries to just watch TV but when he punches the remote button, the whole VCR and TV blow up. Then his bookcase falls on him, etc.
This HAS to be the movie youre looking for.

I saw a lot of movies in the 80s, but this doesn't ring a bell. What else do you know about the movie??

thats pretty vague. maxium overdrive maybe? was it trucks killing people?
