yea what the hell is this movie about could someone please explain it for me?

From what I gather, it's about this lonely man in this apartment complex who rescues a lady swimming in the water from a howling wolf. Later, the man finds out the lady is a narf, a made up creature from a parrell fable world. And the wolf, which turns out to be none other than The Big Bad Wolf, and other villians from famous fables don't want her here because it's upsetting the balance of reality. And as the man, joined by other people in the complex, helps this narf, they begin to realize that life itself is a mere fable, none of it exists. Typical M. Night Shamaylan.
