These people will never be under attack in there state because there is nothing there to blow up and yet where the attacks take place like NY people think Bush is doing a bad job at keeping us safe. Who are you going to listen to?

There's plenty to attack in the heartland -- dams, nuclear power plants, other power plants, overpasses, railroads, bridges, major cities, etc.
I live in a politically blood red district with a comparatively heavy concentration of Republicans who are neocons. Even here, where just a few months ago, it wasn't safe to utter the slightest criticism of Bush, aloud, the sentiment that Bush is keeping us safe is waning quickly. There's a great deal of concern, even here, over our open borders, that foreigners own more of our country than we do, that Iraq is being botched, that Bin Ladin's been allowed to get away with the Sept. 11 attacks and continues to flaunt his continued freedom, etc.

Oh why dont you quit ur crying and try to understand what other people think for a change. Not everyone sits around shaking in their boots afraid of their own shadows, like you liberal Bush haters do. Many Americans actually have backbones and guts, believe it or not.
So what exactly are the odds of you being killed in a terrorist attack anyways? One in a million? On in a billion? One in a zillion? Instead of running around screaming in fear like chicken little why not stop a moment and consider the fact that some nut in a car is far more likely to kill you than some Islamo-fascist with a bomb (or an airplane). Of course us conservatives have faith in our Commander in Chief. Unlike the Liberal option, he has integrity, and he is attempting to do something about the terrorist threat, whether you agree with his methods or not. He is successfully tracking them down, despite the efforts by the left to hinder his efforts at every turn.
And speaking of NY people. Why are NYers so dumb that they elected an Arkansas woman with absolutely no experience as Senator representing their state? All Hillary did was rent an apartment in NY to make it "legal", and you dumb NYers bought it hook, line, and sinker. With brains so sharp its no wonder NYers think Bush is doing a bad job. Its a wonder the average NYers can even change a lightbulb.
As far as who I will listen to, for sure I dont listen to liberal hacks. The libs were in power during the planning phase of 9/11 attacks, and did absolutely nothing after the 1st WTC bombing incendent. Maybe if the former President would have been more vigilant instead of getting BJs in the oval office, the 9/11 attacks would have been detected during the planning stage.
But then again, what do I know? I'm just a dumb hick living in the heartland where there is nothing to blow up. We aren't as smart or as important as you Urban Elitists seem to think you are.

Well, kind of obvious about NY, Osama and those 9/11 terrorists were all Saudi Arabian..Osama is safe in Afghanistan and we're in Iraq . Still a big burned spot in the middle of NYC.
Now, people in the "Heartland" and some Southern Americans know they are safe. They saw the Presidunce Bush fly onto that big ship and say, "Mission Accomplished". It was even on the sign behind him. Now , if they cain't believe what their own Presidunce said, they sure aren't going to listen to the rest of us heathen commies!

I Saint Louis, Chicago there are transportation hubs that connect the coasts. If these were destroyed the New Yorkers would not be able to get your winter lettuce. and other products coming from the far east.
The other thing is if you tighten security on the east coast and not in the heartland. Where do you think the next attack will come from? The terrorist use the weakest link to execute their plans.

And it is in the heart land where only 69% finish high school and less than 3% actually attend college forget them even finishing college that drops down to 1.5%. We somehow let the least educated people in this country dictate the leadership of this country and look how it turned out.
