Take the baby to a hospital or police station. You wouldn't know if the doorstep you leave that child on is a safe place.

They dont call it ILLEGAL abandonment because it is okay!! You know in your heart that leaving your baby on someones doorstep would NEVER be ok!!! I can understand that you are overwhelmed, but how incredibly selfish of you to abandon a helpless child in an unsafe place!! Leaving your baby on someones doorstep is no better than leaving him/her in a dumpster...how do you know the people that you are leaving your child with are fit to raise a baby...they might be drug addicts for all you know....if you TRULY do not want to keep your child, you need to either speak with an adoption agency, or bring the baby to the police station/fire station and they will keep the baby for you and figure out all the adoption/foster care things....no questions asked...but no matter what you do PLEASE do not be so selfish as to abandon your child on a door step!!! You also need to seek counseling and get help, because anyone that would consider doing that has some psychological problems....go get the help you need...no one will judge you for giving your child up for adoption, you are probably giving your baby a better life that way anyway...good luck, and god bless!

What part of "Illegal" don't you get? If you leave your baby on a doorstep, it may die: a dog might get it, or a kidnapper, or the people might be away at work and it will starve, and so on. You could be charged with manslaughter adn go to prison. You think your life is messed up now? Prison is a thousand times worse.
If you want to give up the baby for adoption so that it will be taken care of -- which is a noble gesture, good for you! -- , there are places you can call that will take care of all the details for you. I don't know where you are, so I can't give a specific place to go, but if you call your pastor or priest, or even just call 911, they'll help you out.

I remember you...you're the one who asked about having an ugly baby. I don't like your questions, and I'm answering this one simply to get my two points.
If this question is legitimate, I think you should take your baby to the police station and leave it with them.
If your parents and boyfriend are too ashamed of you and your baby to help you at least find a home for your child, then it's a good thing you're giving your baby up...God knows I wouldn't want influences like THEM around my child. Can you imagine what kind of life your poor, sweet baby would have if it were constantly surrounded by your horrible parents and boyfriend. My Gawd... Just take the baby to the police station.

Bring the baby to me . We have been trying to have a baby for a while. How was it not your fault that you had sex ? If you were raped you need to go and tell someone. Think this through. You will probally regret it when you are older , but I guess you need to do whats best for the baby. heres my email address just write to me and we will figure something out K? Sweenygirll@Yahoo.com I would gladly take your baby . Legally though. We have been trying to have a baby for several months and sadly nothing is working . I want to adopt but I do not have the thousands of dollars to do so. If you are serious about letting the baby get adopted than I am interested.

Dear Girl
Where do you live, if I may ask..?
city or state the reason is that you can take it to a big hospital and they will take the baby with out any hassles, they will ask you some questions, where it was born, when, any health issues you have that may be passed down to the baby, it might take 1 hr. but when it is done that's it...
You can try social services, they have low income help for mother who have no resources as in infant care, that way you can work and they will help if they see you are in real need.
Some Church organizations have out reach programs for single parent homes...
The best thing I can offer is do some soul searching, ask God to help, he has some really big shoulders to cry on..
best to you and short stuffs

If you still want to be involved in your child's life... you should try an open adoption. You get the chance to choose the family and can still see the baby or hear news about him or her. The adoption can be as open or as closed as you and the adoptive parents choose. If you love someone a lot and you can't take care of them adoption is a noble choose but that doesn't mean you should have to forget them.
Think about it... all most all adoption centers offer open adoptions
Good luck! I know what you're going through... I made the right decision for myself...you have to make the right one for you... don't be pressured by your boyfriend or parents.
Especially your boyfriend he did help get you in this mess...

First of all...it is your fault you had sex. If you didn't want to get pregnant, then you shouldn't have done it. That's all there is to it.
Take the baby to a fire station or police department or the hospital. In most states if you leave the child in the hands of qualified persons, they will take care of it no questions asked. If you just leave him on a doorstep, it's endangering it's life and you'll be in big trouble.
Next step KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED!!

Don't just leave your baby. You'll be charged with child abuse if anybody found out or reported you. You would also regret it later. If you can't take care of the baby, go to your local police station and talk to someone there. They can take the baby without you getting into trouble. Or, you can simply put it up for adoption. But, please do not abandon the baby. Your child deserves better than that treatment.

I think there is a law where you can leave a baby at a fire station or hospital, in a lot of states. Just search for the safe surrender baby law and your state and you can find some sites to give him up safely.
If you do it illegally there is a chance the baby won't be safe and you could get in trouble.
