Its Aerosmith, not Manson, Eyehategod or Slayer... *nods*
Plus, shes 15! She is old enough to be trusted.
Just set some rules, make sure she knows what time to be home, what she is and is not allowed to do, by now you have had the no drugs, smoking or drinking convo, now is a good re-inforce those rules.
This is a good TEST for her to prove that she is trustworthy and let her know that upfront.
As far as who to let her go with? Maybe a group of her close girlfriends, arrange taxi's to drop them off and then they should be back out front at a certain time to allow them to be picked back up. If not her close girlfriends, try an older family member, but not over 18, a cousin or a daughter of one of your friends.
If you are still parinoid, then go to the concert, but get her seats on place and you seats in another place and then let her know that during the breaks you are to meet at *blank* location.
That way she has supervised freedom.
Other than that, shes 15, shes growing up, sadly, we cant protect children forever, and they dont stay little forever either..
Good luck either way!!!

I would not allow a 15 yr old to attend an Aerosmith concert on her own. If she were going as a part of a group and you did know the others OR if she were going with a friend and that friend's parent(s) then it sounds appropriate.

Personally there are far too many abductions in the country to let her go by herself or even with friends. I went to an Aerosmith/Kiss concert 2 years ago (I am an adult) and let me tell you after kiss was finished and it was aerosmiths turn that is when everyone started smoking pot and pulling out the alcohol. It is your decision and you have to live with it. You can take the risk and yes they need freedom and I am sure they know about strangers but abductions are happening everywhere and in strange ways. SO just decide what to do, if it was one of my kids, maybe at age 15, yes by age 17 or 18.

I'm 16 and I'm going to see Aerosmith this September... Here's how my mother put it: Yes, with a few special conditions: check in at least once every hour, don't spend any time alone (be with an older friend or a group of friends the entire time), have a set ride there and home again (my step-dad is dropping me off, then coming to pick me up at a set time and we have a set meeting place), and most important, be cautious while there.
Hope this helps you out some.

I am 16 and I went to a Fall Out Boy concert when I 15 with three friends and my friend's mom. Her mom sat at the concession area and we were on the floor. It was a little scary because people got drunk, went crowdsurfing and one woman almost hit me (okay, I confess, I stepped on her Old Navy Flip-FLops on purpose - not).
But if she has a seat (I switched with some kids after the 3rd band) she will be much safer. And just as long as there is one adult present and she is with at least 3 friends (safety in numbers) she will be safe.
Just tell her no drinking, give her money (coin too), a cellphone and pepperspray (we almost had to use ours!).
The security is good though...it's a decision you have to make, but Aerosmith is pretty sweet :)

An uncle who likes Aerosmith? Or does she have any older friends (close ones that you know, you know their parents, that kind of thing)? Use the buddy system! Do not, under any circumstances, allow her to go totally by herself. It's not that you don't trust her, it's that you don't trust other people: make sure she has SOMEONE to go with her. And let her know it's not because she needs a chaperone, it's because she needs a someone else around in case something happens.

Remember being her age? How important would it have been to you? and if you dont let her do these things often, and you aloud her to go (with friends, not alone of course) it would show a huge amount of trust that might suprise her, and you could throw some extra responsibilities on with it. that would benifet both of you. Only 3 years left. She is closer now to an adult then a child... but people look at different situations different ways.

if an other responsible adult is their then yes. or if she is with a large group of friends that you can trust and know.
you still need to be careful and there are security at concerts at all gates in and out. plus I'm sure she has a cell phone so make sure she calls you on the hour every hour

Goodness no! She is a little girl. You need to go with her or a trusted friend. Or if she has a older brother or sister over the age of 18 to go with her. Or send her with your husband.
