sure there are some that do not take a bath but the main problem is there are alot of hard working people out there that have no transportation, they rely on public transportation. Now do you really think that a person who goes out and works hard and gets all sweaty is going to smell good at the end of the day?I think not.No it is not their fault,it is just that they need to get home and have a bath but instead everyone like yourself is busy talking about them and the way they smell.lay off it and if you do not like the smell of public transportation then I say buy your own car or find another way around.

What?! Everyday? Doesn't everyone stick to a yearly bath then? Of course not everyone has a bath or shower every day of the year. How much water would that take? Have you heard about the water shortage in the south?!! Get a car and drive instead!! Yeah I know everyone says go green and get on the bus but I have waited in the freezing cold of winter for ages waiting for hourly buses that never come and arrived home from work really late shattered and almost totally numb. So if you can't stand the smells on the bus either take an alternative method of transport or get a good peg for your nose!!

Not everyone bath every day some people genuinely think they don't need to or they have a strip wash which isn't enough in hot weather.
Some people will also have a medical problem that makes them sweat excessively or are obese.
Also in the hot weather the smell of people isn't hidden under layers of clothes as it is in winter and is more noticeable.
The tiny spaghetti strap tops and the sleeveless t-shirts that are worn also help the smell to spread more easily.
Some are also unlucky in that their genetic make up makes the sweat immediately start to smell instead of building up over time, again not their fault, they probably try their best to counteract it but ultimately aren't successful

I have to say I feel your pain but no, not all people will bath everyday. and those that do are the ones that probably smell more or eat too much smelly food and drink too much caffeine/alcohol. Also, bathing everyday is environmentally unsustainable therefore it is probably better that everyone doesnt bath everyday otherwise there would be no water left to drink and stay alive which is slightly more important than ones sensitive sense of smell upsetting them. C'mon you must do a smelly fart every now and again, get real, body odour is natural.

no, and there is no law requiring it. this is a snobby preference of your nose. that is how people really smell. if you don't like it, then you can avoid public transportation. or become a hermit.
daily bathing is only made possible since running water, inside the 1900s. For the other 10,000 years of humanity it wasn't done. Try to learn to accept how people smell instead of rejecting it.
PS not everyone has access to shower every day, for example the homeless do not and people who don't have running water in their house. you take it for granted.

Yes!! I hate being unclean. Try breathing in through your mouth. Then you won't smell anything. I've never been on public transportation for that reason.

carry around some wet wipes (the kind you get at Mcdonalds)
When it gets unbearable, pull one out and pretend to wash your hands and face. The scent of the wipe will quell the odor of the people around you who forgot that taking a bath is courtessy and healthy.
