I do a lot of Indian cooking. What is *THE* best cleaning product (or other home cleaning method) that I can use to get the yellow grease that has settled on my cabinets and wall? Regular 409 or Orange Glo doesn't do a thing.

I have had luck in the past with cleaning grease off of my stove and such with a product called Super Clean. I didn't have a big amount of grease, but it would probably do well for you're big problem also. I bought mine in the automotive department of Wal Mart because it's normally used for automotive purposes. (it's a degreaser) Comes in a purple jug (1 gallon I think). I don't think I paid over $5.00 for it. I use it for a lot of other things as well (read on the back of the bottle for other uses) Keep the area ventilated if you use it though, you may have to use it without diluting with water.

409 is not removing the grease? or not removing the yellow stains? If it is taking away the grease, I find that citrus acid (lemon juice) removes curry stains from my pots. I have used vinager also but I find it only removes grease, does not help with the staining sometimes.

Bleche-Wite. I use it for all grease in kitchen. It's for cleaning tires and you can get it at an automotive store. Have been using it for years in the house and its great in the bathroom. Turned a lot of my friends on to this also. Oh, do not use on mirrors, it will ruin them.

I have a wood stove, big time greasy smoke, and a propane stove. Lots of ugly grease. I use straight dish soap on a sponge. Work it some and rinse off.

Murphy's Oil Soap is the best. You can buy it in a spray bottle now. But I find it is easier to mix it with hot water in a bucket. Be sure to wring out your wash rag well. It has nice clean fragrance too.

Try using pine sol in a bucket of hot water. It should dissolve the grease.

I have tried two that seem pretty good. Kaboom ( I think) and Bam!
both seem to do well, but I did like kaboom better.
it works wonders on the grease.
good luck.
