Oh yes When have four friends ever had the time to get together that much. In real life no one has the time and especially that often.

I liked the show and the writing was clever although rather bawdy at times BUT I thought that all that couture fashion for the working gal and NYC high life was a bit over the top. The "I am so fabulous" actresses seemed to get carried away with themselves too

i guess in a way it is..i don't think they should have done the last season was rubbish. kind of like friends the last four years.
but anyways, its suppossed to be over the top and ridiculious. its not based on a real situation or real life. its kind of a projection of what the writers would like women to be like in the future, uninhibited, successful, and looking out for each other.
honestly i never got the appeal of this show and thought it was silly. that is...until i actually watched it. and you can't watch the first season, no show's first season is good. after watching it myself and ALLOWING myself to like it or understand it..its really not that bad. and gets quite addicting. cause like any good show it does have things ppl relate to and can base somewhat in real life.

I love that show, I thought it was funny. I guess you have to relate to that stuff to think it's funny. What, noone has ever been broken up with on a post-it note? Even my husband would laugh at some of them.

Ooh my gosh ...... I hate that show. I remember trying to watch the first episode a long time ago. I was like
I don't want to see a bunch of middle age white women doing everyone in NY. Ohh and that Jessica Parker..... hooch ...............I haven't liked her since Square Pegs........

YES. But I think women enjoy seeing themselves and their friends in the characters and plotlines. And men enjoy getting a glimpse into what women's lives are like when they're not around.

it is fun. you have to find the situation you are and how do you put yourself in, then consider is it fun or overrated. every one has a different points of views.
