I was given some really cute Normon Rockwell Posters -- but even in a nice frame they look like just posters. I would like to make them look more like paintings...It seems to me I remember seeing something once about how to make the paper appear more like canvas but I am having trouble finding the info now.

One option is the glass you have in the frame. A highly polished, clear glass will not mask the poster appearance. Choose a frame with a slightly frosted glass and cover at least one inch of the edge of the poster by using a mat or a wide frame.

I would take them to a professional framer. they should be able to do something that makes it look more like a painting. I would think that matting the posters would help. Also a different kind of glass in the frame may be helpful.

I cant quite recal either, but I think if you digitized it and used iron on transfer paper to a canvas or fabric the same effect would happen.

The only downfall would be trying to get the picture to look exactly like it did (with multiple iron on transfer papers)
