According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. I Thessalonians 4:15.
And verse 16, For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

Rev 21:4 And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will sorrow nor pain will be anymore. The former things have passed away.
This is talking about when God will restore the Earth to it's original state, a paradise, and his true worshipers will be living in the paradise and they will be perfect and there won't be anymore sickness, death, or any loss, and they will live forever.
