I don't know if cookies are put on your computer only if you have visited that site or if they are put on your comp from banners, etc

Not all websites use cookies. The history is the best best...unless it has been cleared.

If it has been cleared, then cookies is 2nd best...unless those have been cleared.

Then you are out of luck.

simply if u're using windows xp, u'll find an icon like a "clock" placed in the tool bar in the "internet explorer" window.. if u click it, a side pane will open with history of all sites visited since 2 weeks ago till now!
if u cant find that icon, u can go under "view->explorer bar->History"!
OR, u can just press Ctrl+H

It sounds as though you are trying to spy on what someone is doing, if they are savvy in what they are doing you don't have a chance even if you look in history. Anything that you can not manually remove,a good cleaner program will get rid of it, check and see if they have one, if they do, you are pretty much out of luck.

You can just click on the History button in Internet Explorer. If it is not there, then you may have to customize the tool bar to show that button.

For explorer your history u do not need cookies.

click on Go in the top field then scroll down to history. everywhere your computers been lately will show up there. unless it has been cleared or deleted with "ccleaner"

just find the folder name history in your documents you can have information in that folder as you require
