I am housesitting this week for a friend. Bonus- he has a pool for me to lay in and relax- Bad thing is the neighbors think it is their pool 1/2 the time, and walk right in- (My friend usually lets them swim when he is not home). I would like nothing more than to go to the house tonite after work and have a peaceful QUIET swim without the neighborhood- How do I kick someone out of a pool that is not even mine? (You can see over the fence so they will know when I am in, there is no hiding!) Augh!

Tell them that you realize that normally he allows them to swim when he is away, but you are not comfortable with strangers swimming when you are responsible for the house. Tell them you would hate to be liable if an accident were to occur. It he wants to great, but you don't.

If you are housesitting I would advise these people what he allowed to go on when he was there is one thing but you are watching the house now and it's really up to you and you'd rather they not be there when he is not there and have them take up the matter with him if they feel offended.

It's his pool and he lets them swim in it at will, they you just have to put up with it.

If you relay want to be sneaky though, just don't clean/care for the pool and hang a sign, something like 'filter broken, pool closed'.

Tell them you aren't comfortable with them being there without your friend being there. Tell them you don't want to be held responsible for an accident if it should occur while your housesitting.

Pee in the pool and tell them about it. Say you have some urinary disorder and swimming really makes it feel better.

I guess you'll just have to let them there since it isn't your pool. Sorry baby....
