Avatars vs. Smiley Face?

I find myself skipping over questions asked by Smiley Faces : ) . Do you guys do the same?

I prefer avatars. Sometimes smiley faces annoy me. Especially if I'm not in a smiling mood.

ya know, I'm more drawn to the avatar's also. They may not be the actual person, but at least you get an idea of who your answering a question for.
