bring an iPod, they're the best. Either that or sleep...you can always read, play "how many red cars have you seen so far" (gosh, I always hated that one though), talk to your companion if you;re going with anyone, paint your nails, draw, anything. Limitless possibilities. :D

If you are the one driving, then I suggest Books on Tape or CD. Even if you are not driving, books on tape or cd are a wonderful way to pass the hours. Be sure to take a pillow, so you can shift your weight comfortably and not stay in the sitting position. Make sure you take time to stretch when you stop for gas and potty breaks. Take a camera and take pictures of interesting things, places or people you see as you make your way along. This makes for a nice shared memory when you get to your destination or back home. Take an activity book, something with puzzles (crosswords, sudoko, word games, etc.) Hope you have a safe trip!

Well it really depends if you're driving or not. But if you are then you should definitely bring plenty of cds and or your ipod if you have one. But if you're lucky enough not to be driving then I suggest to bring a portable cd player, mp3 or ipod. Also, some pocket sized video games if you're into them. Or a portable dvd player and stock your favorite movies. You can even buy adapters that conver regular power supplies to the car lighter so you can bring your playstation, xbox, or whatever game system you want. Also bring lots of books and or magazines. Lastly a pillow because you can kill a lot of those hours by sleeping as well. Hope that helped.
