Tell me funny storied about your hamster.

I did have a hamster named Rosebud and she used to open her own cage while I was sleeping. We would have to search for her every morning all over the house. I finally had to put a book over the lid of the cage so that she could not pop it open....she was a clever little gal.

Well I dont know about funny but those darn things will keep you up at night because they are nocturnal and want to play all night. I have thrown pillows and shoes and all that seems to do is make them more determined to Piss you off. I use to put it in a roll ball and our Doberman use to kick it around and bark. It was just as much afraid of it as the hamster was of him.

Well, my brother had 2 hamsters. He forgot to feed them. One day my mother yelled "Shane, did you feed your hamsters". There were on the fridge surrounded by junk.

One hamster had eaten the other one. Later, someone left the cage open, and the cat killed the cannibal hamster.

When I was a little girl I had a blond colored hamster and we had a cat that we had raised to get along with it. It was always getting out of its "habitrail cage" and one night we came in and the cat met us at the door and she was meowing and we followed her into the kitchen to find the hamster at her catfood bowl with it's jaws sticking out full of dry catfood.

my friends hamster got stuck in a drain pipe and when her mum tried to look from the bottom of the pipe this yellow liquid(urine)landed in her eye! then the hamster slid down and fell down through the drain grid on the ground and eventually they pulled him out again!

Buddy was an escape artist. She (yes Buddy was a girl) always hid in the same place though...under my bed. One morning I got up and found it in the kitchen though with the cats watching her. She was really bloated-looking. She couldn't get under the door to my bedroom because she had a large amount of dry cat food in her mouth. When I returned her to her cage she spit out all the cat food into her sleeping quarters and in addition to the cat food she spit out a marble. No wonder she couldn't get under the door.

omg this is hilarious! i had a pet hampster for about 5yrs. i think thats a long time to own a hampster. he was so cute. i named him sargent sammy after someone i know thats in irac. he was my best pal. went everywhere with me and even slept with me along with my cat and 3 dachshunds! to make a long story short.... i went along with a friend to a gay pride picnic up in boyne city (you know for moral support) and sammy went with me. i even had a tiny rainbow bandana around his neck and he was a hit! everyone loved him! well thats the bad part.......... i guess a few of the guys loved him a little too much cos.... well... i dont want to get specific here but they thought he would be able to find his way out of the pipe that was located up this one guys.... well you know where im talking about. chris ended up in
emergency and well sammy is no longer with us. im sure some judgemental people will not find view this as "funny" but you just had to be there!!!! lol the crowd was roaring! i do miss my lil sammy though... sigh....................(btw, chris is slightly embarrassed but fine thank god!)

my brother invited a friend over once and he took my hamster and took in by the tai and flung it around. its no funny but its a story.

my hamster chewed a hole in his cage and escaped into a wall. he died. wasnt that a touching story?? jk but he really did do that!
