I predict we will go further to the right if we elected Bush again with all the "pushing" the left did last time....(i don't think that by showing up to a convention and looking pretty, or making an ill-factual documentary film that, mind you, Brittany Spears supports, about how treasonous Bush's actions were regarding 9/11 were constitutes "pushing")
The left needs to realize that the more Hollywood gets involved in politics, the weaker they look to the right. They need to fight fire with fire...try using real debate concepts and solutions to problems than getting a movie star to support your cause just because they're gay, or want to see gays get married. Don't just blabber and nag about how bad the weather is and how high gas prices are, or how the poor stands in line at the food shelf...show us solutions!

You seem to be ignorant of the fact that there are a lot of Hollywood celebrities who vote, endorse, and fund Republicans. Studio execs are even worse.
