As others have said, it's a scam! While U.S. Financial & Brokers Alliance may be real companies, they are not hosting a lottery. Any con artist can make up phoney checks using real companies. Con artists do it every day, in your e-mails posing as E-bay, Yahoo....etc. phishing for information. Lotteries do not require tax payment before issuing your winnings. Besides, International lotteries are illegal in the U.S. Lastly, if you cash that check and it's fraudulent (and it is), you will be liable for the $2,750! Just send it back, with 'F--- You' on it!

Yipes!
If you didn't play in the first place, how could you win???
This is a come on...read all fine print. Why would anyone send a check to cover the "fees"? The only so called fees would be taxes on a legitimate win and those would come straight out of your winnings.
24 hours to collect? Come on! Real lotteries give much more time than that. This is a hoax.
Don't cash it !!!!

It is a scam. You dont pay money to get a prize. There may be taxes due on the winnings, but not a fee. If you pay them anything you will be out that money.

I hope you didn't give them any of your sensitive financial information. Tomorrow, you may find your bank account as empty as a promise from Bill Clinton.
Scammers look for people who are so greedy that they will respond to these types of letters. I never give any credence to a letter from out of the blue telling me I've won a ton of money. I hope you don't get stung in this thing.
