why can't the u.n. move??

I am sick of these rapists being stationed in the U.S.A. Why can't the perverts at the u.n. be moved every four or five years? they move the olympics, which has thousands of athletes. they move the world cup, which brings in hundreds of thousands to watch that wimpy sport. so let's move the u.n. every so often.

It goes much deeper than location. So much more than where they are, it is more an issue of who they are and how they are allowed to behave. It would seem that their rights, or as it is dressed up and called "diplomatic immunity" far surpasses the rights of the average citizen. So we need to ask what can we do to "move" dipolmatic immunity" along to a higher level. Personally, I believe that when you step foot into someone's house, car, city, state or country, as a human being you should follow the rules of the land, surely you should be treated nicely as a guest, and welcomed, provided you don't break the rules of the house, once you break the rules or some expensive crystal, you have to pay to replace what was broken, not just be allowed to say, I broke that glass, but I am not going to acknowledge any responsibility for it and now I'm going home. On this July 4th Eve, we as a people would have to stand up and say, we demand that changes be made and that everyone has to adhere to the law of the land. But alas, the average person only cares about what is on TV tonight.

All the Olympics and the World Cup require are sports facilities, often ones that are already in existence. The work of the U.N. requires many times the amount of communications capacity, security, administrative facilities, etc. than either of those sporting events.

Also, I am a litte curious as to where you get the impression that the U.N. is full of "rapists" and "perverts" beyond the one the U.S. sent there, John Bolton. :P

We were dumb enough to give them something for noting and since we give the most money they want to stay here to get it faster. I wish they could be moved to Siberia or Mongolia. What started out being a good idea has turned into a big mistake. The US gives and gives and only gets abuse back. Let China, Russia and the other countries match our contribution or shut up. Since we pay about 1/3 of the cost of the UN we should have a larger say in what it does. Some puke country like France uses their position to rip off dictators and tyrants by blocking action in the UN and has the guts to condemn our taking out Saddam.
