Do you use office phone for personal calls?Do you feel that its not right?

Just curious, how many people do that. Hope my boss is not reading this ;-)

people have lives outside the work place therefore I do not feel that it is dishonest, however, when you abuse it, or when it starts getting in the way of your daily duties. Or when the calls are so much or so long that other people start noticing then you have a problem.

Yes, but not often and I limit the length of the call. I have a boss that allows personal calls and I do not want to take advantage.

Yes, I use my office phone for personal calls..... I feel that it is right because, I'm at work during business hours and my boss don't care, hell she's not here half that time......

Yes I do at times. Generally I use my cell phone so if the office phone were to ring, I could still answer it.

i do all the time but only to the important people like my friend my mom/sister my boyfriend and other jobs that i am applying to.
its not right but i do not neglect my work while doing so i make sure that when those individuals call for me they call the long line (the line that is given to the customers to call)

Yep I sure do. I don't abuse it though. It's right to me because they don't allow me to use my cell phone and sometimes I have to use the phone before my lunch time so their phone is my only option.

Yes I do, but I keep it in a respectful manner. I don't think it's a big idea as long as you don't lay on the phone.

I try not to. I have my personal calls directed to my cell phone which I have on vibe.
