Impeachment or not, I think the Democrats have the upper hand because of all the scandals and failures that the Republicans went through and the wrong decisions they made. So I would probably vote for the Democrats either way.

The real question should be why HASN'T Bush been impeached already?
- He conducts an illegal and unjust war against a people that never did anything to the US.
- He blatently breaks the laws of the US by illegally having agencies listen/wiretap/surveil peoples' phone, then gets pissed off when he's caught
- The Katrina fiasco, but "Browney, you're doing a heck of a job."
- Attempting to sell our ports to the Arabs.
- His cronies outed a CIA agent to get back at someone who talked trash about him.
The list goes on. Anyone else would have been so fired.

The Constitution is very clear you can't impeach someone just because you don't like them. It states that a President can only be impeached for "high crimes or misdemeanours".
The reason Clinton was impeached was because he was convicted and setenced for lying to a Grand Jury which is a legal crime under the statutes. He was not convicted by the Senate for these crimes and thus was not removed from office.

I would leave the Republican party.
All this talk of impeachment is reiculous, you're just mad becasue Clinton LIED TO A FEDERAL GRAND JURY and was called out.
Face it Liberals you suck, you cant even convince your own people to vote. If Bush is sooooo stupid what does that say about you. ROFL

No need to impeach the guy...history will judge him harshly. Additionally, the dems should handily regain control of both houses in the upcoming elections...assuming anyone bothers to vote. Apathy is why we got Bush and apathy is why the Republicans may retain control. EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE and CHANGE AMERICA...after the Gore thing I think my right to vote isn't worth the Chad it hangs on.

I'm rather confused, what grounds would they have for impeachment. Perjury is illegal (although it was hyperinflated by Congressional Republicans), what is so illegal about the war in Iraq? Honestly, I would like to know. Last I heard, Congress authorized it.

this is not the biggest problem we face and overlooking whats going on in america is killing us.no matter who gets in we still get it in the end as tax payers.
i currently have no respect for any off them and advocate a complete over-haul of the system.
lewis black had a good idea on selecting the president and i support it for all politicians.toss a dart drop a monkey and who ever he touches first is persident but i would put a envelope on him judge mayor senete congress local state federal and drop monkeys every where over cities and towns for all political jobs and any monkey who finds his way to the congress should have the job himself cause god knowes a monkey could do no worse then these guys have over the last 160 years.

Oh, I would. I might even start to believe that there are vertebrates in the GOP.
But it'll never happen. The Neocons are lockstepping like they're practicing for the Nuremburg Rallies, and there's no sign that they resent being lied to, manipulated and having their congressional prerogatives degraded.
Heck, if they won't stand up for their OWN sakes, how can we expect them to stand up for the NATION'S?
