Well I want to know because I talked to some locals in Brown County and they freaked and said they didn't want to talk about that crazy place and my friend was driving a kid home and he told her we had to go through podunk and she slammed on the brakes and freaked out saying she didn't want to go through there so whats the deal with it i've heard stories about a black truck just poppin up outta nowhere and chasing you and if you slam on the brakes the truck goes right through your car, a bridge that if you stop on you can here a child scream and if you shut your car off and count to 30 if you dont turn it on b4 you get to 30 your car dies, hearing gunshots hitting your car but when you get out and look theres no holes in the car and an abandon house that you flash a light on a certain spot on the celling and then put your foot on the 1st step and then shine the light back there's blood now dripping from that spot. so anyone have any other weird stuff happen to them ?

Bargersville - Podunk - Podunk is an old town right by Bargersville. It's a really weird and freaky place that near-city teens go to. There's a bridge that if you drive on to & then stop & turn off your headlights, radio, and don't talk then you can see a baby crawl across the road. You can also hear it crying or laughing sometimes.

Went to Mapquest -
There is no Podunk to be found, except in Connecticut - and the town there is spelled PODUNCK (your Podunk with a 'c')
Perhaps this is where you should head, after doing some research with this different state. . . sounds like a lot of fun, especially if it's not all just someone's overactive imagination.
Happy (and safe) trails to you . . .

I'm from Indiana, No Podunk. Many say Podunk as a slur to small towns, who have no clue. Maybe they took offense at the remark. Could you be referring to Little Egypt, which is about 3 miles from my house? Little Egypt is an old country cemetery. A dirt road goes around three sides of the graveyard. Legend has it that it you stop at each of the corners, turn your lights off each time then back on your stereo will become static, and or your car engine will die. A black van will appear and chase you down the road, then disappear into thin air. All car components in working order again. Half a mile down the road is a small woods. In Northwest corner of woods are many abandoned, rusty, old cars. Most people have no idea that there are cars back there. Were they captured by the phantom black van? There is also a bridge on the same road about a mile from cemetery. Never heard screaming child. The reason it's called Little Egypt? Gypsies lived in the area, were not allowed into town. Someone did something to piss them off, so they cast a spell on a 16 square mile block. My Grandmother swore that she once walked down the road by her house, and that stones flew up off the ground all around her. Her home lies within that cursed block. That is also the place that I had my first ghostly encounter. I was only 5.

I think you're meeting some pretty weird Hoosiers. I'm from Indiana, and all I've ever heard about "podunk" is to describe a really backwoods area.
