Puppy. I have one and its , believe it or not , easier to me than a kitten. I like being able to train him. This is a tough subject, though. There's plus and minuses for both. Its your preference.

They both have benefits and drawbacks. Cats are good for people who are gone for long hours because you can put out some food and a litter box and leave. Dogs must be let out at least 3 or 4 times a day. Dogs are good for active people who can take the dog with them to do things outdoors. Cats do not generally like to travel. Take a good look at you lifestyle and make a decision based on that.
