We're having family and friends stop by in kind of an open house event. We've cooked up a huge brisket and have lots of finger foods. Everyone who stops by has to sign our huge wall poster about "Why America Rocks." The kids are enjoying doing wall art for the poster, and it creates a memory for us to see where we were at this time each year. We save, them and drag out the old ones year after year. We always end up with things people are thankful for that we are free to enjoy in this great country. We'll watch "Independence Day," play board games, and end up with watching the fireworks over the capital. No fireworks are allowed here because of the draught, so the nation's fireworks will have to do. :)

Happy Fourth!

This will be the first year that we get to spend the 4th all together with our boys, and this is the first 4th of July for our youngest.
Our three year old is looking forward to getting to spend family time and watching the sky light up.
hope you have a happy 4th as well.
thank you for the two points.

we have a family reunion- you know sitting around watching a bunch of old people play dominos and watching snotty nosed kids get in trouble for running around- your going to run into your 97 year old great-great-grandmother sonny- look out! All this while the teen/preteens try to sneak swigs of whiskey or drags off of cigarettes and talk about which ones of their fourth cousins are the cutest!

Oh yeah- my idea of a good time.
