Mine was a terrible paisley shirt in the late 80's. It still makes me shudder now. My current pet hate in others is the jeans around the a**e look, a kind of naff skater boi look.

When I was 8 I had rainbow coloured round framed glasses... I loved them at the time but I cringe thinking about them now!

My biggest fashion faux-pas? Well, in seventh and eighth grade I was under the delusion that medium was a good T-shirt size for someone who was barely over a hundred pounds.

My current hate is the baggy look. I agree with the jeans-around-the-a** look, but I also hate really loose tops that sort of floof out at the stomach and hips and gather in at the bottom (what gave people the impression that that looked good?). I especially hate these kinds of tops paired with leggings. Ugh. Leggings are not pants, people. They're ugly.

Also, what is with this compulsion to layer tank tops? There's no point whatsoever, and the only thing it does is create more laundry.

The entire 80's...bangs ratted & sprayed with Aqua Net, two pairs of slouch socks in different colors...

My pet hates now include:
-Crocs
-Anything worn by overweight women than clings to, shows, or emphasizes bulges (Muffin-top jeans/skirts and shrugs with camis are common offenders)
-Fake Louis Vuitton bags

The best had to be pure the white shell suits! I remember two guys came into school wearing them with the Reebok pumps - talk about looking like gimps! :-)

Mine was probably the time I wore my gym clothes in public- and they were unwashed too. Ugh. I agree with the too-baggy jeans thing- pants should fit properly. But it's people's choice what to wear-you know?

I had a puff-ball skirt, white with big black spots, it was quite horrific. But it was about 1986 and I was a small child at the time.
