they do not all use the same kind, for example penske cars use mobil 1, evernham uses valvoline. ect

LOL!! Have to agree with the previous answer. They do use synthetic, but with the sponsers they have to be faithful..Wouldnt' be very nice for the valvoline car to stick some quaker state in there huh?? Or the Coke guys to drink pepsi..and so on.. Love the cell phone thing though, LOL.

They all use sythetic oils but due to different sponsors they use different brand names. Kind of like their cell phones...
