Why not ? Anything that makes you feel better about your self should be OK. Most men could use a moisturizer and hand cream, why not a little mascara to accent the eyes. If a man is a man hes still going to be a man no matter what he wears . To me a very secure man would be the one that could wear a touch of makeup. In history Egyptian men (royalty) wore makeup and English men too . I'm sure lots of cultures did .

Yes. Look at all the men in hollywood- and all the male models- they wear makeup. Even if they didn't- It's ok for men to use makeup. And lots of girls love guys that wear makeup, and think it's hot. Wear what you like- if that's makeup so be it.

Well, I once dated a guy who wore eyeliner whenever we went out to bars or clubs, and EVERYONE thought he was gay. And you could tell he was wearing it in photos too even though I could tell he tried to put it on subtley.
This other guy I dated had a bunch of tiny scars on his neck from an accident he'd been in where glass cut his skin, and he used a little foundation on his neck to cover those scars.
My current boyfriend is manly, but sometimes he gets really embarrassed when he has a giant red zit on his face, and he'll ask me if he can borrow a little concealer to put over it.
I help him put on a little concealer and/or foundation over his problem spots on his face, and you can't tell he has it on.
So, in my opinion if you don't care about people possibly thinking that you are gay, then go ahead and wear eye makeup or something. Otherwise, if you can apply concealer, foundation, or powder without it showing, then all the power to you because you'll probably feel more confident about your face after covering a few flaws like pimples or scars.
Take a trusted female friend or girlfriend to the store with you to help you pick out colors of makeup that will blend well with your skin color and be basically invisible. If you're using the makeup to hide blemishes and things, your girlfriend or female friend won't think you're gay. Just be honest with them and asking sincerely for a little assistance since you're manly and don't know anything about choosing the right color of makeup.
If you don't want to bring a girl with you to pick makeup, then the tip to choosing the right color is to blend a bit of the makeup on the backside of your hand. If you can see if after you've rubbed it in some, then it's not the right color for you. You want makeup that will be "invisible" after you blend it on the back of your hand.

It depends. I think it's o.k. if you either go all out with it and do something artistic and creative, or if you are really subtle with it and use it just to hide minor flaws, but still keep a natural look. It starts to look wierd if you use it to enhance your beauty the way a woman would.
Basically, just try to stay clear of applyining it in traditionally feminine ways and you will still be able to maintain your masculinity.
Keep in mind that pretty much every single man that you see on t.v. or in movies is wearing makeup.

NO, not unless your in a band, and if you are in a band, you can only get away with mascara and eyeliner. Other wise it's just weird for a guy to wear makeup

I say if you wanna wear then wear it.. There is no law against men wearing makeup... Look at all the actors out there... Most of them have to wear makeup to cover up something or to enhance a fearture... Just like women..
Yes society probably doesnt agree with men wearing makeup. But i say why listen to soceity? If you wanna do something then do it.. Cause if you dont then you'll be unhapppy..and you wont be you...So go for it!!!

My brother used my moms eyeliner to fill in his mustache, but for the most part "No" I think that men in the movies, modeling or where they are in front of a camera use it. But on a day to day basis they wouldn't tell you! If you are comfortable with it do what you like.

depends on the context e.g. actors , opera singers, TV presenters etc. all need to wear make-up no matter whether male of female. But socially I'm not sure, whether its ok or not I wouldn't be able to say, but certainly ain't normal behaviour right?

If they're are emo or goth or gay. Or have a photo shoot and need to cover up some flaws. If they're cross-dressers. If they really want to. I guess it is OK. no one ever said make-up was strictly for girls!!!
