Sorry to get you so upset sorry for bothering you with such a silly ? my son was wondering if he could play the silly game so he gave me a ? to put on to see how many silly people would answer thank you for your time and have a wonderful day!!!

I put a movie in my computer, my tv is not very good, its about 3 years old, my computer has a remote, and a nice moniter, i put over 1600.00 into it.

I don't think its too silly to ask, I've wondered the same thing because everyone in my fiance's family sleeps with the TV on, I always found this odd and I wondered if other people do this too. My fiance sleeps with the TV on too, but since we've been together he's gotten good about turning the TV off right before bed.

No it is so very annoying to have the TV on all night. My in-laws keep the TV on and no one is even in that part of the house. WHY? If the TV is on, I am engaged in the show. The times my husband left the TV on without putting the remote in the bed, I find myself answering questions asked in commercials or on shows or laughing at jokes. Its just too much. I need my silence and darkness.

Someone got upset over a stupid question?!? They are on Yahoo! Answers, so I'm suprised they haven't encountered more than one!!
In answer to your question, I don't sleep with the TV on because it would keep me awake all night. When I was younger and would sleep over at a friend's house and they left the TV on, I would have to wait until they went to sleep and then turn the TV off myself or I wouldn't sleep at all!! I need extreme quiet to fall asleep.

No bother. I use to sleep with it on all the time until I figured out that a lot of my bad dreams stemmed from having it on. The radio also affected my dreams. So now I turn them off before I go to sleep.

Yes I do, I put it on a timers. The noise for some reason helps me to go to sleep
