If you believe that matter has always been, then the "theory"(which scientists really talk about as a fact) of evolution is a religion, and should not be taught in schools
also, "mater" was an unfortunate typo

I don't understand why your think the "theory" of evolution is a religion if a person believes matter has always existed. This doesn't make matter a god. One of the basic tenets of science is that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Matter is just another form of energy as expressed in the equation: e=mc^2.
Yes, some theories haven't been proven yet. This doesn't mean they aren't valid, just not yet proven. Most scientists will happily admit that not all theories are proven. But they still fit the facts as observed with scientific means and detachment.
You claim god exists with absolutely no proof or even a theory.

You really should pay more attention is both science and english classes. Evolutionists do not say we came from matter, they say we evolved - a whole different thing plus mater means mother.

matter?
what the hell? if by matter u mean a primordial soup. then yes...
why dont u read a text book about it...
Reduced atmosphere oxidized.. caused a simple biochemical reaction, started first types of scum/algaes, gave rise to mosses, ferns were next.. etc... look up OXIDIZING/ REDUCING atmosphere.
But youre question is a good one... better phrased as " if we all came from the big bang, then who or what caused the big bang?" This is where faith or the belief in an external deity, or being comes into play... andI say better to put faith in it and be wrong, than to not put any faith into it, and be wrong! So you see, Evolutionists can believe both in science and religion... depsite what the American South's education system wants to teach.

the theory of evolution doesn't deal with the creation of life, let alone the creation of matter it deals with the diversification of life. I think your confusing evolutionists with atheists. some people say matter came from the big bang, some say matter always was, some say God created matter. i think there is some stuff on here
www.godandscience.org that is very helpful

Matter came from the Big Bang, we evolved through primordial ooz from single cells that went into mitosis and evolved into more complex organisms through out millions of years.

Matter from subatomic particles, subatomic particles from quarks and gluon's, beyond that is a frontier of science. You could try and squeeze a god into the gap, but he's probably tired of being moved from one filled knowledge gap to another.
The question of what matter is, is one for particle physics not biology.

The theory of evolution has to do with biology ... it has nothing to do with the origin of matter. Questions about the origin of matter are questions for cosmologists and astrophysicists.

Well, when Christians are asked where God came from, the answer is always, "He always was".
So, lets use that one. Matter always was.
Personally, I think our origins are a question that no one has the answer to.

Its always been there. The only difference is the form in which it is found.
