What a lot of people don't realize is that the thong wasn't invented as sex clothing...it actually has a purpose.
Some materials like silks and satins are very fine and show all the underclothing lines. There is nothing more unattractive than a great out fit with panty lines showing around the tops of the legs or under the butt.
If a girl is taught that her under clothes are meant to compliment and approriately suit her outer clothing than it's fine. When they're using thongs as sex clothes, I don't think at that point the issue is worrying about thongs! I think they're behavior should be the focus.

I started wearing thongs at about 14, and unless I am going to bed that is all I wear. I would have to say that it depends on why the girl wants to wear it. If it's so that you can't see panty lines (which is why I wear them) then I don't see a problem. However if it's to show it off then you have to find out why the girl is desperate for that kind of attention.

It depends on how old they are. It seriously disgusts me when there are like 5 year old girls wearing visible thongs, with reaaaaaaally low cut skirts that barely cover them. But if they're like a teenager, then I think wearing thongs is fine as long as it's not visible.

If a woman is wearing trousers that show a panty line, it is preferable that they wear a thong. If you're wearing low-cut jeans with a thong, that's not appropriate. Nobody wants to see butt floss, nor do they want to see the outline of your granny panties.

Sure, if they don't want any panty lines. I mean its never not inappropriate unless, her thong is showing. Girls should just pay attention when wearing a thong to make sure that it is not visible.

Well depends on the ages...i think you should be at least 18 to start wearing thongs, but thats my opinion.

Thongs are fine except for when you have the damn thing sticking 6 inches out of the top of your pants at all times.
I like to see a girl wearing a thong, but only when it peeks out a little, not like she walked out of the house after she hung her panties from the ceiling fan to pull them up over her head.

I feel that thongs aren't for young girls,pehaps 17 and older,or even 18 and older.

I think it def is... as long as it isn't hanging out. Panty lines are much more distracting and unappealing than wearing a simple thong.
