Probably the fuel pressure regulator but you did not give enough info to be sure. You need to post again with the specifics like year, engine size , make and if it is back firing etc.. for a better explanation. Hope I have been helpful though

well, i have never seen a car that staters, but it it is very difficult to give advice about fixing a car when you tell us what it is or what year it is?

it could be alot of things I would most likely look into the exaust restriction but could be many other things I would recommend a good shop

check how much gas you let in on idle. i know how to mess with it with carburated engines but with fule injectors i have no idea how to adjust the idle. and i cant really explain it. but chekc with the idle control.
