spyware and adware?if so how i scaned my computer and nothing has been found lots of people been telling me it does give you that but i dont know any more

Limewire can give you spyware/adware/virus. That is the worst part about limewire, just try downloading files that have many sources and you should be ok.

There is no spyware or adware that come with the program, but there may be some with the things that you download off of it.

It does put some crap on your computer, but it's easily removed. LimeWire is so great it's worth the trouble of removing the adware stuff.

I have not had any problems due to Limewire. I have a good antivirus program and I run 2 different spyware programs weekly.

limewire itself doesnt. Some files on it do however so when you download music/movies make sure the size of the file is normal
