If feels a lot like childbirth, only the opening is like 1 cm. dialated instead of 10 cm. dialated. It hurts really bad! Been there!

It feels different to each woman, just like pregnancy feels different, but generally it feels like you have your period but sometimes a bit more intense cramping. The easiest way to know it's a miscarriage is go to your doctor. He can do a blood test to check your HCG level. This is the hormone that goes up when you are pregnant. If it is indeed a miscarriage then the level will have dropped. Your doctor may want to do a D&C to make sure that everything is cleaned out of your uterus so you don't get any infection.

At 2 weeks, its unlikely you would really feel anything. You would just start to bleed like a normal period, only it may be slightly heavier bleeding. I just had a miscarriage a month ago, at 7 weeks, and there was no pain at all, just heavy bleeding. I've had 3 miscarriages in all, another at 7 weeks and another at 11 weeks and there was no "labour" like pains at all. With the 11 weeks one, I needed a D&C, but the others just took care of themselves naturally.

I would assume there would be a lot of blood involved and also some cramping although I do not know the degree of pain.

Depends on how well your body deals with it. It could happen and you might not ever even know of you could be in pain with severe cramping.
Mine was terrible and last 3 days & then I needed surgery.

If it's only two weeks, then you probably won't really know unless the doc tells you.

If your spotting turns heavier, and pain, usually back pain.....
