Well, for starters, I am my county's Environmentalist. I love my job. I also am the Recycling Coordinator... I run the county environmental education center, market our compost, write grants for the environmental services division, work on ways to save fuel/energy, test methane and ground water around the county landfill/baghouse dust site... and deal a lot with the citizens. Increase public awareness of environmental issues. So, yeah, I stay busy with saving the environment...but, it's my passion and I love it!

I earned a degree in Environmental Studies and interned at an prominent non-profit that promotes river conservation. I now work with issues related to Environmental and Economical Justice for a Catholic institution.
I also recycle and vote in elections, picking the candidate that values environmental sustainability.

I recycle....EVERYTHING! Even if it's a little piece of paper I find on the ground or things like that. I kinda obsessive about it. I also take in cans,plastic, and glass bottles. I get them from work everybody throws it in the regular garbage and it drives me nuts.
