Anymore these terms are too generic to mean anything.

I am a republican and damn near a libertarian (so conservative republican but not all conservatives would claim me)

I am for liberty and freedom.

I am for at least 50% smaller government (and your life would not change at all except your taxes would go down)

School Choice (this involves money going to Christian schools in some cases but so does the GI Bill)

States rights (they make their own call on most of the social issues of the day)

Balanced Budget amendment!

Elimination of the income tax and change to sales tax (fair tax)

foreign policy: All or nothing! We need to be completely Isolationist but if we do that then no one should whine that millions are dieing somewhere. If we are going to have a say in the world and be a player than war was the right play in Iraq except it should have happened 10 years ago. Saddam was not following a treaty we signed with him and as soon as he broke it the first time we should have went after him to save face. we should stay until the Iraqi government has secured the country and asks us to leave (I am on my 2nd tour) to show that we finish what we start. If that involves amnesty to insurgents so be it! (we gave amnesty to confederates)

Immigration We need to know who is coming in and out of our country! I don't care how Meany come as long as they have papers and are not criminals.

Eliminate the min wage

Eliminate Welfare

Eliminate Social Security (can be phased out)

Eliminate Medicare (the best way is to require everyone to have medical insurance not tied to their employer, like car insurance, except for the ludicrously poor)

I am a moderate. I agree with the liberals on some issues and the conservatives on others. I think the perfect government would be a happy medium. People who need government aid should get it instead of being told they need to work for it. Big business should be regulated so it can't cripple the populace, but it should be allowed to grow with the economy. War is bad, but sometimes unavoidable. In this presidency however, war was definitely avoidable.

I like to judge by the issues. If I was forced to pick one I would consider myself a Democrat. I'm probably more liberal than conservative also. I don't like welfare but know that is necessary for some. Same-sex marriage is fine, hell hetrosexuals have screwed marriage all to hell so lets let them give it a go. I don't believe in abortion or capital punishment. More than anything I'd like for people to move away from the labels and just decide for themselves what they feel is right and wrong.

Generally, I'm a liberal
Here's a play by play:
abortion: pro-choice, but counseling and deep consideration should be required
ss marriage: acceptable
welfare: poor system, but welfare is necessary
Iraq: never should've gone there in the first place
taxes: not higher or lower
environment/global warming: needs to be looked at and fixed

None of the above. I'm a leftie registered with the Green Party who is tired of politics as usual. It's time to make a change.

I'm a Moderate who believes that both the far right and far left have deeply hurt our country, each with its own agenda that does not reflect the real heartbeat of America.

THE ONLY WAY TO TAKE BACK AMERICA IS TO KICK BOTH THE FAR LEFT AND FAR RIGHT OUT OF POLITICS.

Far left liberal.

- pro-choice
- pro-gay marriage
- pro-universal healthcare
- pro-small government (in terms of the gov. staying out of my civil liberties and business. I am for regulating corporations such as power companies and monopolies because everytime we deregulate them the prices skyrocket)
- pro-civil rights
- pro-equality in the workplace, etc...
- pro-gun ownership (it's a common misconception that liberals are anti-gun. We are for keeping our constitutional liberties)
- pro-constitutional guarantees
- pro-STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY BUSINESS rights/laws
- pro-voting rights act
- pro-environment protections
- pro-tax increases if necessary to pay for things that make us the great nationt that we are
- pro-war if we are defending an ally
- anti-war if we have no justifiable reason ie, vietnam and Iraq
- pro-welfare for a limited time and while helping them find a job (that's the current system that Clinton implemented)
- pro-social security and medicare benefits that take care of our elderly
- pro-immigration
- anti-ILLEGAL immigration
