In the West, your "tree lawn" is called a "parkway" if you are referring to the landscaped strip between the street and sidewalk. Carbonated drinks are all "cokes" or "soft drinks," never soda or pop.

1) in Cali is soda (anyway as far as I've heard) 2) I have no idea what either is 3) my family (which originates from the Arkansas/Oklahoma states-though I was not raised there, but some of the phrases have continued) calls a shopping cart a "buggy" (my friends make fun of me for that one) and pronounce the word "wash" as "worsh" ( I always have to remind my parents that there is no "r" is "wash" lol!)
And on a side note, I have heard diapers called "pampers" a lot, though no one in my family does this I know a lot of people regionally do.

Definitely soda here in the Mid-Atlantic. " tree lawn or devil strip"-- must be neither here since I haven't heard either. Oh-- here they're subs-- but I know they're "hoggies" in Jersey.

For me, in Ohio, it's pop.
We have a "devil strip" instead of a tree lawn.
Also- we say "you guys" instead of "ya'all" or "you-ins"
:)

buggy and a stroller. I'm in the Midwest -- we have strollers for our babies. My friend from the East Coast calls them a buggy.
