well lets see...

britain is notorius for trying to take over countries so we would have allot more people here that are not american. south african, indian from india, caribbean folks. they regret taking over india as they are the majority in england right now. weird to see them there as they have completely different lifestyles. also we would be stuck eating blan food, never smiling, and doing bad construction jobs.

good points would be...getting to take vacation or as they say: going on holiday for 2 weeks at a time every other month. americans go on vacation once a year! no wonder we are so nasty in the mornings going to work!!!!!!! GGGRRRRRRR!
We would be well traveled and speak several languages. hold a passport as a everyday identification. how many americans actually have a passport and have a clue what its all about?
We are not well traveled. NO culture in our blood!
OH YEAH how could I forget!!!!!
The QUEEN would have say so over all and get her 7 million pounds every year as her salary! NO SHITT!!!
Thats what the Queen gets for just handing out MEDALS and giving people titles!!! Pisses english off when I say that!!!
THey love their Queeny!
UH I dont think it would be a good idea for announcing on tv how much OUR PREZ makes. He wouldnt be in office long!
NO GUNS would be allowed here. no guns are allowed in england. if they know you have a weapon they will rush into your house and take you to jail!!!! no search warrant for that! you can serve time for a gun. just think no guns here? wow. atleast bambi would be safe!
so thats all I can think of from living there.

It would depend if we could have won the world wars without America being independent. If it had stayed small (population wise) like Canada or Australia we might have struggled more or lost, then the world would be very different. So many events would have played out differently that the changes would probably be to big to calculate, we can only speculate on many different scenarios.

Probably much the same, except we'd have a parlaiment instead of a congress.

In the modern world, its not very practical to keep colonies on another continent. One way or another, the Brittish would have let go of us by now.

Possibly we'd be a little more like Canada.

A lot like Canada. After all, canada did not get it's true independence from Britain untill the '80's.

canada is part of the common wealth( though in the 70's we gained our own independence ) ...usa never was ....I honestly don't think either way it makes a difference as individuals make and run a country so it would end up being the same as it is now

That's like asking what YOU would be like if your parents didn't meet and have YOU!
Who really knows? Sometimes those things are just best left to fate!

Errrrr, that would be "secede." (To withdraw formally from membership in an organization, association, or alliance.) Though, overall, we have succeeded (To accomplish something desired or intended). I guess.

i think America wouldn't be as "cool" as they find it these days...just a bunch of Indians that stand round the fire and wait for someone to come and share a thanksgiving dinner..
